It's just important to me I guess. If pregnancy really does mess up my body like some people are saying, I'll most likely get a tummy tuck, though the thought of it sounds horrifyingly painful to me.

I am saying that it isn't always necessary, even if you want a slender, hot body. After six children and at the age of 37, I am still slim enough to be checked out by high school boys and hit on by college students. My 35 year old sister is model slender after four children, including one C-section. No surgery for either of us.

I hope I turn out as lucky as you 2.

I am a slim person and I have a very narrow waist/torso/hips. I wonder if that means pregnancy will damage my body MORE, since there's more "stretching" that needs to happen, or if, in your case, it will help my body go back to normal.

I had my first boy at 26 and my second at 28. If you are so concerned about your stomach then have them soon. The younger the skin the better because it has more elasticity. I was and am very thin and my stomach went right back to normal within a few weeks! No stretch marks. I think that having smaller babies helped too. 6lbs. 7oz. and 6lbs. 10 oz.

I would of had more if I could but my husband was set on two only. I was not a practicing Catholic at the time. At 45 I was given the grace to come back to the Church and I tried to get my dh to agree to have just one more but he was not on board.

They were just so happy to get together and chat! They all brought their children along so we could play together while they talked.

My dad would always tell my mom that he loved her just how she was! He told her that he liked that she was soft and had grey hair.

I am 53 now and I am going to grow old gracefully without plastic surgery! My hair is thinning, and I have wrinkles around my eyes. My body is not fat but it is not that toned either. My dh likes it that way. When I stopped worrying about getting old it was freeing.

And yes, our bodies will be transfigured into glorified bodies when we finally hear, "Well done my child, you have ran the race and won the battle!"
Wonderfully, beautifully said!

I agree. I worked out until I gave birth with both pregnancies. The first pregnancy, I lifted weights and did aerobics at the gym. The second pregnancy, I walked 3 miles a day and lifted light weights at home. I gained 28 lbs and 26 lbs and 3 months postpartum, I was in my jeans again.

My breasts are a B cup and they lost a little bit of volume on the top and it hangs maybe half an inch lower, but they still look nice to me. I also used vitamin E cream on my stomach and breasts everyday.

I have a bit of loose skin around my abdomen, but no stretchmarks. I have a c-section scar and it is barely noticeable. I would still be able to wear a bikini and fit in with the non-mommies

I have to admit, I do wish I had my very perky breasts and super flat stomach again!

NO! I was 36 when I had my first and 38 when I had my second...no stretchmarks or muscle stretching.

Have kids when God wants you to honey!

First of all I would like to say nobody has a right to judge a woman if she feels a little nip/tuck will make her feel more beautiful not just outside but inside too.

I agree with everyone here that lip injections, botox is ridiculous but a tummy tuck and breast surgery is not.

My wife has 2 close friends that breast fed their kids, before the kids came along both had 34D breasts, now both of them are barely in a B. They both miss their pre-pregnancy bodies and who wouldn't? Who are we to judge a woman because she wants to look and feel as good as she can and since they had good sized breasts before, what is wrong with wanting that back??

After our 2 children, my wife has a large layer of fat around her waist she can't lose. She can't wear anything form fitting since her stomach shows. I don't care but she is insecure about it and wants to wear a 2 piece bikini one day. I don't think we will bother getting a tummy tuck but if she wants to I will support her. She also mentioned getting small implants to make her breasts more fuller. If she does that, I would rather 1 surgery, not 2.

Nothing wrong with a "Mommy Makeover" is there?

Absolutely not b/c some womens' bodies change a lot with pregnancies.

I find that my friends with big breasts, really suffer with sagging afterwards. I used to envy them when I was in my 20s though

I do think that Botox and injections are over the top though. I am turning 41 and am beginning to feel a little bit desparate to look 20 again. I am begin silly. I can't believe that I actually went to see a plastic surgeon

A tummy tuck is kind of a major surgery. Unless she has a lot of loose skin and loose muscle on her midsection, I'd recommend just some lipo tp get rid of the localized fat. It's much cheaper and less painful. I have a close friend who did lipo and she said it was one of the best decisions of her life. Small breast implants sound like a good idea too. It's definitely something I plan on doing once I'm done having children.

In the future I'm planning on betting a double mastectomy. It's expensive but worth it; no more binders to worry about. I'm sure all of you ladies are beautiful whether or not you get surgery by the way :]
