On yahoo.com and several other forms of "id" they are implementing a microchip that goes into the right index finger of the right hand to login, there will be a number 6 6 6 on this barcode as with every other barcode....this is the sign of the end times

I find no reputable resource for this, perhaps you could provide a genuine source....but the mark mentioned may not be such a thing at all. Considering all the symbolism of Revelation, that 'mark' may be a symbolic or spiritual mark

As Jesus said, Mark 13:32 “about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. "

Heavenly Father You alone know the day and the hour, as Jesus said, but Jesus asks us to always remain alert, to live every day as He has taught and as the Holy Spirit has inspired.

With this statement, Jesus explains that He chose to know by His human knowledge only that which He wanted to know for His mission of salvation. James 5:7 - be patient until the coming of the Lord. Those who try to predict disregard this inspired teaching.

Rev. 22:20 - Jesus says He is coming soon, but He does not tell us when He is coming. Because Jesus says we do not know the day or the hour and will be surprised at His coming, it is silly, and disobedient, for people and groups to predict His coming. We, instead, need to be about the business of growing in holiness, so that we are prepared for our Lord when He comes again, no matter when that will be.

Lord, prepare us to endure the trials we consecrate as united with Christ's suffering as part of the Body of Christ. We can endure all things in Christ, Who strengthens us. People are reading about these things all the time, and chips ARE being used and being put in almost EVERYTHING.

By the way, if you have new credit cards and various i.d.'s, you really SHOULD, because of those chips, immediately invest in a Steel Wallet. People are already walking around in the malls with scanners, waving them, and picking up all the info on ALL of those chips currently on people's persons, and not encased in steel wallets. With the info on these chips, these unscrupulous people can, and already are,
taking out mortgages in other people's names,
opening other lines of credit in YOUR name,
sending out or subscribing to, child porn (among other sick things) in other people's names. It is true, and it is not funny, and it's only going to get worse.
So invest between $5 and $25 (depending on your style preferences) in a steel wallet. The scanners cannot "read" through the steel. Every advance in technology brings with it, it's very serious complications.

As to chips in the head, hand, or finger being the "mark of the Beast" that Christ told us not to take, this involves no black helicopter type theories. Evangelicals have been floating this view, which has infected a lot of Catholics who read the things they write, for over 35 years now. But this interpretation is not very likely to be correct at all.
As another poster noted, these "marks" may be symbolic of something else. If you read the Jewish tanakh, the Old Testament ((and all the Apostles including John who wrote the Apocalypse, were JEWS)), you'll discover that the forehead and the hand were very symbolic things. Thus, in Apocalypse, to have the BEAST's name and number emblazoned on your forehead and/or your hand, is far more serious than being held down and having a chip slipped under your epidermis. To have a person's name or number emblazoned on your forehead means to clearly display, visibly, to all, that you bear all the marks, traits, and Spirit of THAT PERSON. You actually and willingly BELONG TO him or her. Same with the mark on the "hand."

The fundamentalist evangelicals, and the Paul and Jan televangelists on tbn who have popularized the "chip in the hand" view, aren't paying close attention to the Jewish Scriptures FROM WHICH Saint John drew nearly ALL of his rich apocalyptic imagery.

Please, don't fall for these overly simplistic "computer chip in your fingertip" paranoia-inducing claims. There's enough REAL diabolical activity going on, to waste your time worrying about a computer chip on your index finger !!

we could go into genetic food manipulation how that causes more problems than they are worth; but um to the OP i searched Yahoo on this topic and literally got back over 1000 hits on various versions, including what the op is talking about, but nothing that showed a thumbnail on the main yahoo page...

the tech is out there for this stuff, the thing is unless the masses are fooled into thinking they really need it, or are forced to get it under penalty of law, then i do not see it being a problem any time soon.

Wikipedia has a thread on it which goes into detail rather simply on the subject.

Point remains,
there is a LOT MORE to becoming a child of the Devil and his Demons,
than having someone hold you down and forcibly stick a computer chip under
your skin, no matter WHAT is encoded into it!!! Someone forcing a chip into your hand or finger or forehead, against your will, is in no way having any affect on your heart.

Now, if, in giving you the chip, they tell you,
by accepting this, you are agreeing with Us that this or that man is the god we owe our allegiance and worship to, THAT would be another matter. THAT would involve a willing act of apostasy, to do so without Extreme Duress.

This happened in the Roman Empire.
Christians were allowed to not be arrested or killed, if they would just offer a pinch
of incense to the Emperor's image.
well, so what, we may ask. WE light candles in front of the pictures of Saints ALL THE TIME, so what's the big deal?
Oh there's a BIG DIFFERENCE and it's a VERY BIG DEAL back then.
We light a candle in front of a saint's portrait because
(a) it symbolizes that we are continuing our request fo their intercession,
....via the lit candle, even after we stop asking with our lips for their prayers. and
(b) we love and respect them as our elder brothers and sisters.
IN NO WAY ARE WE DECLARING THEM TO BE OUR "GODS"!!!

But when you pinched incense to the Emperor of Rome's Image, you were in fact
declaring that you AGREED that Caesar WAS THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY.
And THAT was an act of Idolatry and Apostasy and Blasphemy.
That tiny pinch of harmless incense, under THOSE conditions,
meant a LOT.

A new world order with a single currency, a friendly, charismatic, almost god-like ruler (who turns out to be a despot) who is the closest to a devil incarnate as you can get, to be part of that economy (buying and selling) you need some kind of electronic device, to get it to work, you need to swear allegiance to aforementioned leader or you risk starving to death or having you head mechanically separated from the rest of your body. Of course,this is all crazy fiction, conspiracy theories for lunatics, we know better than that...Or maybe nobody expects this, God's power of delusion operates and people will fall for this. Making fun of conspiracy theories systematically is a liitle bit like crying wolf, when something big will happen, people will laugh thinking it's just another conspiracy theory with no truth to it. Scoffers will scoff. AND reconman will wish he only had black choppers circling his house to worry about!

Thanks for that, reconman. I laughed when you said you had helicopters circling your house, so I thought I'd use that as a sort of a joke myself. I know horrible things have happened in the past, things so horrible that people must have thought that the end was near. But I believe we 're now in a day and age where masses are vastly secularized, evil is insidious but pervasive, God's commands are broken left and right with no second thoughts, abortion is rampant, abortion is almost considered a human right, Jews have returned to their homeland after centuries of diaspora, when the two witnesses who will denounce the Antichrist will be put to death, the whole world will know about it very quickly (it wouldn't have been possible even 60-70 years ago as communication was in its infancy) and rejoice, a single man/tyrant leading the world with an iron fist would have been barely possible in the past. Perhaps I view things negatively and things are like they have always been and the end is centuries away. It could be. Though I can't imagine God sitting by calmly watching the huge mess we're getting ourselves in and not doing anything about it.
