Now mine is going off because I forgot my prayers this morning! Quickly remedying...

As you can see, I don't really need a Scrupulator™. I need a BasicPracticingCatholic-ulator.

Are you sure that wasn't your Castigator™ going off?

Today the Castigator™ went off because the celebrant was blinking too rapidly.

I think you had it set on speck in your neighbor's eye!

This morning I tried to change the setting on the selector dial on the Castigator™ from speck to reverent, but it still went off because celebrant had stress wrinkles on his forehead.

I think speck is the default setting. It reverts to that if your batteries are low.

What's the latest version I need to download, as I haven't updated in a l-o-n-g time?

BTW, how do you get the small "tm"? ( there's a lot of brilliant stuff I say on here, and I wouldn't want anybody making big bucks off me without being given proper credit$).

Oh, that explains why I know all of my sins until the moment I go to Confession, and then my mind goes completely blank!

I heard they were trying to make a Scrupulator-brand app, but they never could get it to work. It caused too many people to leave their iPhones on during Mass, which in itself is a mortal sin. You can imagine what the beeps of condemnation sounded like.

Mine just went off... it's asking me if I don't think it might be a sin to eat fish today and abstain from meat because the Solemnity of St. Peter and St. Paul fell on a Friday. The sinful part being that I purchased fish absentmindedly yesterday without checking the calendar.

I'm glad I have the opportunity to seek advice on this maybe, potentially, sort of grave(!) matter.

I also use it to schedule appointments, all of which, incidentally, have been deemed within the near occasion of sin.
