Re: Like father, like Father: Dad and son becoming Catholic priests
I am told this is true, but I heard it second hand.
In the Chicago Archdiocese there is an older gentleman who was widowed. In his retirement he became a diocesan priest, and is still active.
His grandson is studying in the seminary and will become a priest in four years.
Each is born Catholic, not a conversion as in the linked story.
All this is good news.

There are two Anglican priests (father and son) who are today becoming Catholic priests.

Yup, and the son is going to be the pastor of the Anglican Use parish right here in Houston! I might just go say hello to him.

I didn't know that. I have been meaning to go there. This is a good reason!

Yup. My sponsor and her husband attend Mass there occasionally and he is a teacher at their little school. They are both converts from Anglicanism. You can see quite a few pictures on their website. They even have a shrine. It looks like a lovely place.
Unfortunately, they are about to move out of the country. Maybe we can make it up there together before they move.

What a family. Reminds me of St. Therese of Lisieux's family.
