Can we have a "save draft" option button for when we make postings
On the http://www.psychforums.com/ site (which I think also uses vBulletein) there's an interesting feature of being being able to save the post your writing up as a draft if you haven't finalized what you write in your posting.Personally I think that would help a lot to have on this forum given how it's mainly about religion and it can take a while to fully gather our thoughts into writing on this topic.I for example have to two ideas for postings but still got to find out more about these topics before releasing a definitative draft of a posting. Also it really helps to prevent losing a posting that's long a/o you've put a lot of thought into.Would anyone else think that would be helpful?.

Re: Can we have a "save draft" option button for when we make postings
Having gone through a few crashes here, along with numerous various slowdowns that drop post, I have found a good work around by opening a Word document and pasting longer works there before I send, in case it is dropped.

I do that as well at times but if we were able to make saved drafts on this website then they'd be accesible to us regardless of which computer we may be on.

This isn't meant to take away from your suggestion, but to offer an immediate workaround.
Paste your draft into your ISP email account and mail it to a free webmail account (e.g. Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail etc) which you have set up. Its something I have used before to good effect. When traveling, or otherwise using a different computer, I am able to access to the draft I wrote on a different computer.
The process can work in reverse as well, using your webmail account to send the draft to your ISP email account.

Re: Can we have a "save draft" option button for when we make postings
I also do the same as PN. I have spotty internet, so I always write my posts in notpad if they are longer than a few sentences, then I copy and paste it into the forum. Then if it fails, It's still in notepad. But a build in draft feature would be nice.
