Antibiotics aren't even in the same drug classification as ABC. Come on, really?

God does and His is the only opinion that matters.

Unprotected sex brings more than the possibility of babies.

Not in this election, I'm afraid.

Agreed, but at least protected sex can help prevent those possibilities better than unprotected sex.

I care little for the workings of this world. Everything is vanity, even voting.

And abstaining provides 100% protection. Using prophylactics, and calling them "protection", gives a false sense of security that makes people more likely to engage in risky behaviour. Indeed, in African countries such as Uganda where abstinence and being faithful are promoted as official government policy, AIDS rates have fallen. The rates are going up in countries where condoms are touted as the be all and end all.

OF course there's no question that with abstinance there is no risk but we're talking about if it's going to happen anyway-of course I would prefer that it not happen at all but if it's going to in my family, I'd rather have there be some protection against what might happen rather than just saying 'she'll need to deal with the consequences of her actions...' (not to mention this leaves plenty of consequences for the girls especially with a pregnancy but often times the boys have no consequences except likely being known as a 'player' or getting 'high five' for 'scoring. I think that's part of the problem - I wish there was a way that boys/men were more accountable for their actions -I think many of us grew up in households (at least I did) where it was 'a girl shouldn't do those things' but the boys were given a slight grin and a 'really?' - girls reputations are often ruined because of this boys reputations are often 'made' because of this - fix that (make it so a boys reputation is ruined by having premarital sex) and you'll be going alot farther with fixing the problem - then I won't have to worry about my family members getting pregnant outside of marriage or if they need to use any type of family planning method outside of marriage.
God Bless
