Default Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

How many of us make time for the special Catholic things like Benediction anymore?

I find it really tough time wise and often don't make mass on holy days of obligation. When I get to stations of the cross or a reconciliation service (sadly this usually only happens during the tridium nowadays!), it means so much more to me, and has become a real cause for thanksgiving. When I was a school boy at a Jesuit College it was, of course, a part of everyday life and frankly I miss it!

How many here make time for these things?

Default Re: Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament

I make time, but I've been put in a unique situation where I have the time even with work (from home office) and family. I figure I've been given the time as a blessing and that I should use it as I'm sure it was intended.

But I'm very lucky in that the TLM chapel fairly close to me has Benediction every Sunday after the 11:30 a.m. High Mass. In my area, we have 15 RC churches within a 5 mile radius, so I'm afforded a wide variety of times to attend Holy Day and feast day, as well as daily Masses. I really don't have any excuse to miss any of it, nor would I want to miss anything.

We have benediction after every First Friday Mass. It's so beautiful!
