Allergies won't go away

Please pray for me, I've been having sinus trouble and nothing seems to help. Antihistamines nor mucinex; and I Can't go to the Dr yet due to my insurance. This has been ongoing all summer, and is worse when I'm at home. I hope it's not my cats. But these allergies have only been recent. Please pray I can get some relief.

I hope you can get help soon! I have difficulty with seasonal allergies and it took forever to find the right remedy. I had to take IB profin along with the antihystamines to relieve the swelling in my nasal cavity. The saline nasal spray you can get in the store was also helpful. I pray you feel better soon.

I don't know what the problem with your insurance is, but you really should go to a doctor for your allergies-even if you have to pay for it out of your pocket.
Failure to get timely medical treatment for an allergy can lead to permanant damage to you in the future. Many doctors can and will work out a payment schedule with you if you aren't covered by insurance.
If conventional medicine doesn't work, and you live in or near a city having a large Chinese population, you might seek out a Chinese doctor who practices traditional Chinese medicine. I personally know of several cases where Western medicine failed to help an ailment and the individual was healed with Chinese medicinal techniques.

I will certainly pray for you. I have to add, though, you really might be better off seeking the help of a NAET certified doctor. I rely on traditional western medicine for almost everything, but when it came to my allergies, it just wasn't working. First my doctor prescribed medicine that made me nauseous, then he prescribed medicine that made me constantly drowsy. When both of those turned out to be worse than the allergies themselves, he put me on allergy shots. These worked, but they were a huge hassle. I was constantly going to the doctor to update my shots and my allergies were always changing. It seemed there was no real solution.

THEN a friend recommended I see a chiropractor she had visited. It was really strange - unlike any doctor I had ever been to. But luckily she was very helpful and willing to explain everything she was doing in a way that I could pretty well grasp. As I understood it, rather than trying to treat the symptoms of my allergies like my doctor had, she was able to work with my entire body to reset the way it responded to the objects I was allergic to so that my body responded in a healthier way. She did so using acupuncture (although she can also do acupressure for those who are afraid of needles) and homeopathics. It took a few treatments and my allergies were gone! Of course, because they are seasonal allergies and allergens change every year, I occasionally have to go back, but not nearly as often as with the shots. Its also great to know that I'm not just covering up symptoms, I'm actually cured. My body is healthier than it was before.

If you have any other allergies besides seasonal allergies, NAET doctors can also treat that. My brother-in-law was lactose intolerant. I recommended her and now he eats ice cream all the time.

I know its a little outside of the norm and that can make people a bit uncomfortable (it certainly did for me), but if you're willing to give it a try, you won't be disappointed. Also, there are no chemicals or harmful drugs with NAET, so there's no risk of the treatments backfiring. The worst that could possibly happen is the treatments don't work (but if its a good doctor, they will work and then some). I am so happy I found an NAET doctor that I just have to share this with you.

My wife has terrible sinusitus (inflamation of the sinuses) as well. I understand how miserable it can be.

I will pray for you, especially since you can not go to the Doctor just yet.

In the meantime.. please try a sinus rinse several times a day to flush everything out. Don't use stuff like Psuedophed which can dry out your passages, as that doesn't flush out the inflamation.

Thanks, everybody for your prayers. My Dr. suggested I get Allegraand prescribed a nasal spray that reduces the swelling without drying.
