You guys have mentioned anti-catholics at the events. Again, when I was at Toronto, the whole time I was only offered one "anti-catholic" pamphlet. I put it in quotes, because it wasn't so much anti-catholic as just telling me to go to their church instead.
Did you guys notice a smaller number of anti-catholics in Toronto as well, or was I just at the wrong place at the wrong time?
Thx again!

Yes, Toronto did not have the number of anti-Catholic and protestant groups as Rome and other WYD's. Most likely it was because of the security around the convention center which made it difficult for any non-registered group to pass out material.
Cologne was just the opposite since it was held in the open square around the Cathederal. There were dozens of anti-Catholic and protestant groups, one group had their van full of books parked just up the street from us. I collected material from most of them, some of which I found on the ground.
Even though some of the material would be considered "protestant', the message is all the same - The Catholic church is wrong and to be saved you must leave it. Why else would these groups be at WYD except to lead people from the Church. One book "The Way of Life" quotes Pope Benedict on the cover and the Catholic Catechism, but is clearly designed to create confusion and lead people astray.
