To many, following the Word of God is too much. They rather live the easy life that makes them comfortable in this world while building the foundation for a very uncomfortable life in the next. Religion (or certain religions), it seems, is taboo while everything else is allowed.
While strictly doing what the Saints did is not for most of us, we can learn from their example. This is especially true when it comes to charity to our fellow man and living a life that is morally upright. We must live this life for God or we will live the next life apart from God.

It is good to meet a person who takes the spiritual life seriously. I have been inspired several times during my life by meeting such people, not just in books but in real life. They have all had something to teach me. I hope they have helped make me a better person.

Consider the lively examples set us by the saints
i consider them, and i like to consider them. they (and the saints themselves) are amazing!!!
