what the thread says

You don't need a new post for that. Your signature is applied to all posts, new and old.
Great quote from John, BTW.

Yeah I realized that, thanks for the heads up though
I was testing another quote, from 1Cor but it was too big...

You might be able to make it fit, by using smaller characters.
If you'd like, I could do it for you (by posting what you would need to post here)

You could try the Bible tag (the Bible icon in the edit bar - you only need to supply the passage location). However, if you wanted to cite an entire chapter it might be annoying even if the software allowed it.

Re: Testing New Signature
Ohh not really, I wanted to add this
Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. (1Cor 13:4-7)
but it exceeded the 300 characters limit
And I didn't like the translation in the Bible tag, I prefer this translation

Make it smaller and try:
Copy and paste all of this in your signature
{size=2} Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. (1Cor 13:4-7){/size}
Replace the { } with [ ]
