Default More terrible news out of New Orleans

Apparently, the inmates at one prison were either let out to escape the danger or got out due to damage to their cells...but either way, as a result, they are now holding people hostage. One deputy sherrif evacuated his four children to the prison because he thought it would be the safest place in the city...now they are being held hostage too. This keeps getting worse...I hope the National Guard can resolve this. Martial Law has been declared....if I get a link for the story, I will post it...I just heard it on the local news. Prayers are needed NOW!!!!!!!!!!

I caught part of that story, but I thought that they said that they were evacuating the prisioners, not that anyone was being held hostage. I'm going to see what I can find.

Yeah...they were evacuating some of them...I don't know all the details to the story, but from what I can gather....there are some law enforcement officials and some of their family members being held hostage....now, I have no idea about numbers...it may only be two prisoners...or it could be two hundred...Im not sure. What I am sure about is that there is definitely a deputy sheriff and his four children being held hostage...the news people said he called his mother from his cell phone and told her what was going on...if I hear more I will let you all know.

Jesus, have mercy!

I couldn't find anything about this, but with everything else going on, it wouldn't surprise me.

I hear ya...I am hoping that the story is erroneous and just a misunderstanding...but with the way things are going down there...it wouldn't surprise me.

I talked to my friend who's dad is a New Orleans police officer and is in New Orleans, he told me the same story.

Prayers going out.

Blessed Mother, please go to your son, Jesus, and ask him to save these children and all of the hostages. He will not turn you down if it is his Father's will.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee.
Blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Thank God!! and thank you, Blessed Mother!!!!

Ted Koppel on Nightline just said that this story was nothing more than a rumor!!!!

(I'd rather be put on alert and prayerful based on a rumor than to find out it was true and people were in danger).

Well, after I turned off the computer and went to bed, I was watching Nightline still and Ted Koppel said that he has been told that maybe it wasn't a rumor. In other words... They don't know. He talked to the mayor and communication isn't very good so nobody knows.

More prayers.
