Should I attend my sister's non-Church wedding?
We were brought up Catholics and attended Mass every Sunday. I fell away in adulthood, left the Church and married in a registry office. My husband and I have since had our marriage convalidated in the Church, last month in fact. Now my younger sister is planning her wedding, a civil ceremony and I don't know what to do. It would be hypocritical to not go and cause huge hurt and offence with her and the family. Also people change and come back to the faith so surely it would be more positive and loving to attend, praying all the while for conversion than to turn my back..seeming judgemental?
