Why is Mary so important in the Church?
Okay I don't want to get banned from the website, and I promise I'm not trolling, but why is Mary so important in the church? The assumption and the immaculate conception are not in the Bible. Jesus never said "my mother will be the 'Queen of Heaven.' So why? Is Mary immaculate? I don't know. I know I'm saved through Jesus, and Mary didn't die on the cross, but Jesus did. HIS blood washes away my sins, not Mary. I love Mary, I really do, she gave birth to my Savior, but I have a lot of doubts. This is my scruples talking, I'm sorry if I'm out of line, but something seems wrong to me. I used to pray the rosary, but I don't even do that anymore. Please help me.
