Can you help me answer these Immaculate Conception Questions?

Hi, I recently posted an explanation about the Immaculate Conception on my Facebook page. I have some friends who asked me a few questions about it and I'm not quite sure of the answers. One asked, "if Christ can save Mary from original sin in this way, why not save EVERYONE in this way, or at least those who will in life go on to be completely sanctified?" And the other wanted Bible references for the I.C. Any help??
