Re: Natl Catholic Family Conf in Anaheim, CA
That's too far for me. I am going to the one that is closer (8 hour drive) to where I live. It is in Wichita, Kansas. The date is August 6-8, 2004. The web address for more info is www.catholicrc.org/wichita
Maybe I will venture a vacation next year to California to attend the one out there. I would love the adventure.

Re: Natl Catholic Family Conf in Anaheim, CA
We are so going!!! My husband and I found out about it a couple of years ago, and we wouldn't miss it now. It's like the Catholic shot in the arm for the year. I want to take my parents (still Protestant) and my other non-Catholic friends who wonder about the Church after the whole priest mess and say, "Look! This is what the Church is all about!" I suspect they might not get it if they aren't already Catholic, though. Do you think it would be a bit much to hit them with at once?
We love the speakers, I look forward to hearing Marie Bellet again, the shopping's fun, and it's just terrific to be around so many dedicated Catholic families and religious.

Re: Natl Catholic Family Conf in Anaheim, CA
It's a long trip for us too, but we're flying. We haven't had a 'vacation' in years so this is a big treat. I've never been to this event before, but I have heard that it is amazing. I am pretty excited about it. My 3.5 yo keeps asking when does she get to meet Father Pacwa
peace,
