Default Did we commit a mortal sin by missing Mass?
My 16 year old daughter missed mass Sunday morning because she was expecting me to wake her up and I didn't realize it. It was too late to take her so I went without her.
I planned to take her to evening mass but we were Christmas shopping and it got late, and she pleaded to let her stay, and I gave in. Was this a mortal sin on my part? On her part?
