Default What was on the Pope's Crucifix at Christmas Eve Mass 2012?
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ

I noticed on the the Pope's crucifix Christmas Eve Mass 2012 something that looked like a 4 legged animal.

Did you also notice this?
What does it symbolise?

It was the image of a lamb.

It is a symbol that when crucified Jesus was the lamb of God who took away the sins of the world.
