Patience is a virtue, and that virtue is sorely lacking in today’s society. People today think that suffering is for others and they should not have to bear with it. This is wrong. We all must suffer in some way and those who do not have the patience to bear it will give in.

There is no doubt in my mind, soul, or heart that this is one of greatest masterpieces of Life living, not just Christian living. It is among a handful of books that are front and center in my personal library and I try to read from it at least every other day along with my other devotionals. And this chapter has come to have far deeper personal resonance than I could ever have dreamed and certainly would never have hoped for. Three thumbs up!
