Default What does "Pocket Venus" mean?

I was reading an Agatha Christie book and a woman was described as a "Pocket Venus". All I could guess via content was that it was perhaps our modern day phrase - trophy wife.

Anyone know?

I always thought that was a term to depict very petite, but lovely and voluputous women.

You are all wrong. It is spelled "voluptuous".
