Gee whiz. I can't believe I am almost wishing that someone's mother had died - how can anyone lie about something like this? Is the media confused again? Who can we believe? It's really hard to make good decisions with incomplete information - false information is even worse.

Thanks for the info.

I am just getting disgusted of the whole mess. My husband and I have sent provisions and money, and will continue to be generous whenever we are called to be, but I think this country has in many ways come a long way from Sept. 11.
I fear for the USA.

Jennifer123:

I'm not too sure if I should say anything.

But how can people in this country make rational decisions about what to do and whom to trust when the media colludes in fraud and deception?

We expect our politicians to lie and exaggerate - It's a national tradition, and it goes back to Rome. But we do that believing that the news media will ferret out the truth and expose the lies.

They've pretty much stopped doing that, at least when it comes to the lies told by the Liberal party - Tim Russert didn't challenge Aaron Broussard's obvious whopper.

That's a disservice to the people who pay their bills.

In Christ, Michael

I don't see how Tim Russert, at the time, would know this was an "obvious whopper." The fact of the matter is many elderly did drown in nursing homes.

And to try to score political points from their deaths is atrocious.

I know exactly what you mean. I've heard of prophesy (which I know some people put little stock in) that states in the endtimes the truth will be hard to decipher. (truth as in regards to secular concerns, not the Truth as in "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life...").
I see more and more evidence of that every day.
