Default AudioRosary - Free Audio version of the Rosary

Hi all,

This is my first post, as I've been looking around for a while for a forum with which this post will best fit without causing any offence - I hope that this is it!

Anyway, I am writing to tell you about a website that I have just poured my heart and soul into for the past month in an effort to fulfill a dream of mine - to make the worship of the Virgin avaliable to all Catholics in a modern, hectic world. The site is called AudioRosary, and it offers free versions of the Rosary read aloud (British accent - hopefully changed for a better recording soon!) for free download, along with free audio copies of the Divine Mercy Chaplet and a selection of what I believe to be key Catholic Prayers.

The link is www.audiorosary.co.nr

That is why I have created AudioRosary - I know its not much at the moment, but thats where I want you to help if you can - please give me suggestions on things to do to make it popular!

I know that I have a big problem with a stress on donations at the moment, but at present (as explained on the site), this is the only way that I can fund an extension to the site providing even more free items to Catholics in an effort to make prayer easier. I'm also aware that the automation of the response isn't ideal - but with my somewhat limited knowledge of web design, it's the best way I can find at present to keep a close eye on how popular the site really is.

All I want is suggestions from you - I need to make this site work to make my dream complete, and - if you don't view this as a violation of any forum terms of service (my gravest apologies if it is) - then I'd really value your opinions, and maybe oneday your support.

From one Catholic to another - (please be honest in your replies),

AudioRosary Admin

Sorry to re-post on this message, but I just want to re-emphasis that I really would value all opinions that you can offer - I really want the site to work well. All opinions are great - please don't hesitate!

Thanks for your time,

Hi all - just making you aware that there are now several modifications to the site that I'd like you to check out if you have a minute or two - namely everything is now free, not donation based. I realised that, although donations are critical to my higher goals, I'm going to rely on your sole good will to provide the site with a future, not an incentive.

Please take a look at the site and give me your thoughts.

Thanks,

AudioRosary Admin

I downloaded them and played the in Windows Media Player and iTunes, and the audio is really hard to hear without turning the volume way up.

Ok! Glad you like it - thanks - it really makes all of the hard work worthwhile. Please though, this is only a precursor to much bigger plans to offer free CDs, DVDs and physical Rosaries, so if you enjoyed it and can afford a little, please donate!

If you haven't checked out the site yet, please take a look, enjoy it, support us, spread the word, and post your opinions here!

A big thank you again to all of the kind people here that have already shown an interest,

Exclamation Re: AudioRosary - Free Audio version of the Rosary

Hello,
I love the idea of the audio rosary, but please, we do NOT worship the Virgin, as you say. We plead for her intercession only. As Catholics we worship God alone!

as the poster said above....

I do not WORSHIP Mary, but simply pray for her intercession. You might want to be careful how you phrase that so that you don't prove many Catholic-haters right.

and the link did not work for me
