Knowing that the politics of the NYT editorial page vary between hard left and extreme left, I guess I'm not surprised.

The financials of the New York Times are going down the toilet. They are repeatedly having to lay off staff to save money.

If they keep it up, they will be in the same league as the Village Voice.

Doesn't Congress realize its obligation to generate headlines [and profits] for the media? What does it think it is there for?
