Perhaps there is another form of ministry that you could participate in. Just because the specifics of the advice are unsuitable, doesn't mean that there isn't anything there to consider. If it had been me, I would have said, "I am a married woman. What else might you suggest?"
According to Quentin Tarentino, (Kill Bill Volume 2) Clark Kent is Superman's opinion of the human race. It occurs to me that, using the same logic, Jesus of Nazareth is God's.
