Default *PLEASE READ* Big Changes for Catholic Answers Forums

Catholic Answers Forums will be transitioning to a redesigned website starting in September. If you've been active on the forums within the last year your account will be migrated to the new site. Though we are making every effort to migrate the most important parts of the database, we cannot guarantee that all content associated with your account will be migrated. For this reason we ask that you "copy-and-paste" or otherwise backup any content that you feel is indispensable.

The most noticable changes will be to the user interface and available features. It may take some getting-used-to but we've decided these changes will ultimately provide a better experience for our members and a more maintainable platform for our staff. And please know that we'll do our best to assist you during this transition.

Thank you in advance for your patience.

CAF right now is excellent.

Keep up the great work.

Please don't "tinker" too much.

Thanks for all you do CAF.

I assume the new forum would still have moderators, and also make moderating easier.

Would I be able to change by username when the new forum arrives? I really want to pick something less awkward. But when I asked before I was told that wasn't possible and told that the only way was to re-register with a different name.

Thank you for the information. I had heard this was going to happen sometime this
year. Glad to finally have a target date. Looking forward to the changes. Thanks for
all the work you do.

I hope the JREducation's posts (mainly in the "traditional Catholic" forum) makes it ok.

They are full of invaluable information, and I don't think he comes here any more, or very infrequently, due to health, and perhaps because his religious community needs him in other capacities

now that you mention it, I haven't seen any posts by him for a long time.

FYI, Brother JR is still in contact with some posters off-line. A letter from him was actually posted recently in the Traditional subforum by Church Militant:
