Default Great Column in Today's Pittsburgh Post Gazette

Columnist Jack Kelly, who does not normally write on religion, made me proud. It's worth a read

Very interesting... I'm also a Pittsburgh native & I studiously avoid the PG unless I want to clip coupons because it's such an anti-Catholic rag. Some of their editorial cartoons following the election of Benedict were truly insulting. However, curiously they have been printing a few sensible op-ed pieces on Catholicism recently - one even hailed the late John Paul's comments on the media & generally criticized journalists for forgetting about fairness. Considering that Pittsburgh is a very Catholic city (including both Latin & many Eastern Rites), the PG's general editorial policy puzzles & angers me, so I hope this is some small evidence of a change in the works.
