Default Guy Gruters show~ what is pieta prayer book?

Someone called in to speak to Guy Gruters about their son/daughter who'd fallen away from the faith, and he told them about a prayer St Brigett prayers and the pieta prayer book, chaplet of st.micheal, to pray for your children. Has anyone heard of this or can direct me to where to find these prayers?

You can order the prayer book from www.mlor.com or call (269-731-4490), also you can check in your parish church's gift shop. It has a lot of classic Catholic prayers from the St. Bridget Prayer to the Chaplet of St. Michael.

The Chaplet of St. Michael and 15 Prayers of St. Bridget are great prayers. I highly recommend them both, very highly, they can change your afterlife.

The Pieta prayerbook has many great prayers in it!

I also recommend the booklet The Magnificent Prayers of St. Bridget of Sweden. It helps you to pray the prayers because it has many pictures for meditation.

A dear friend (who had converted to the Church) sent me a copy along with a blue-plastic Rosary.

I credit them with helping me "revert" (Feb 2002)

Be careful and use it with serious discretion, though. Some of the prayers in that book are just borderline heretical.

This is a very priceless treasure, I have it and it has helped me a lot. I am still using it, I find great consolation in this prayer book. If anyone would like their mailing address, it is: 1186 Burlington Drive, Hickory Corners MI 49060-9330, their phone number is:616/731-4490, this is the address and phone number which is printed on my Pieta Prayer Book.

When I first converted the Pieta prayerbook really helped me grow in love for God and the Church. I really recommend it to anybody wanting to deepen their prayer life.

It's a small green or blue booklet that can be bought in nearly any Catholic supplies store. The prayers in this book are very beneficial.

I have a question about the interview with Guy Gruters today (a re-broadcast). He mentioned praying the St. Michael Chaplet for the conversion of our children. However, in reading the promises of St. Michael's Chaplet, it only mentions St. Michael being able to bring relatives OUT of purgatory, there is no mention of any promise of conversion.

Can someone explain this to me? Thanks!

Oh the angels are quite helpful with everything, everything.

The best way to keep someone out of purgatory is for that person in this life to not commit the sins that get him into it. Who better than the angels to guide and inspire that person and to pray and obtain the graces for that person?

A divine competition perhaps between the angels and the saints?

The angels inspire us to good deeds, warn us away from sins, protect us from physical and spiritual harm, do every good thing for us.

One almost can't help growing more holy the more angels and the more prayers for their help.

The Chaplet of St. Michael.

Hi All,
I agree with Shin on it. I do St Michael's prayer almost everyday, infact everytime, do not count how many times I say it. It helps me great deal in overcoming my addictions. I can really feel the protection. It is much easier for me to face all the temptations now.
In my experience St Michael's prayer enables the one who say it or if you say it for someone else to keep away from sin or the desire to commit sin. He fights the devil off.
and by the way I had never heard of that Pieta prayer book. I am gonna visit my catholic book stall this weekend in Bangalore.
Joe
