I've read testimonies of converts from New Age healing practices. New Age healers are, of course, not working with God, rather, they are plugged in to the devil (though they likely don't realize that). The New-Age-to-Christian converts noticed that the clients/patients that received "healing" would inevitably return to them weeks or months later with a new and equally painful or more painful symptom elsewhere in their bodies. It was theorized that, though the devil can't heal, he could certainly make it appear so by influencing the pain or illness into another area of the body, etc.
The devil cannot heal, he can only deceive.
God bless!
