You should speak to your priest. There is information lacking. Did you get an annulment? You probably need an annulment and to be married 'in the church. Do see a priest for better info. Make your wife happy by doing what needs to be done. Peace.

I think it's wonderful you have taken the initiative to ask here, and yes if you truely love the woman you are with please speak to a priest and look into the Annullment process .If you you love someone's soul and want to do right by them you will find the grace to do what is best for them and yourself.

I am surprised that this has come up before in your marriage. Please make an appointment with your priest ASAP to discuss your marriage situation. He will be in the best place to advise you and start any paperwork (if needed) for the annulment process.

OP, I think that you may have posted this in the wrong forum. Maybe a kind moderator will move it.

Catholics are bound to marry according to Catholic form. If your first wife is still living, and you married secondly outside the Church without an annulment, the Church does not recognize your second marriage. (You have been Catholic for decades and didn't know that before now?) Please make an appointment with your pastor, discuss this with him, and see what your options are.

We will pray for you!
