Wonderful!!!

:love::love::love::signofcross::crossrc:

CARDINAL BURKE! CARDINAL BURKE!

CARDINAL DOLAN! CARDINAL DOLAN! CARDINAL BURKE! CARDINAL BURKE! CARDINAL GEORGE! CARDINAL GEORGE!

Sorry. Had to.

Are you rooting for the next Pope one of these? If so, Cardinal George I’m afraid wouldn’t be a good candidate…he is really in the throws of fighting Cancer. Been undergoing Chemo as of late. Unfortunately he’s not in terribly good health.:frowning:

Would very much like to see a North American pope, but I’ll concentrate my prayers towards any good, strong conservative…particularly any who would restore the tiara to its proper use.

I thought I read Cardinal Mahoney was past the voting age. Perhaps not.

Sorry to say this but, a US Pope!! Yikes!!!

Are you saying that based on your thoughts about the US or on the current Cardinals from the US?

Who cares what nationality the pope is. As long as he’s a good communicator who knows how to defend and promote the faith.

Here are the US Cardinals by precedence (electors are under 80):

Cardinal William Wakefield Baum (86)
Cardinal Bernard Francis Law (81)
Cardinal Edmund Casimir Szoka (85)
Cardinal Roger Michael Mahony (76)
Cardinal William Henry Keeler (81)
Cardinal Adam Joseph Maida (82)
Cardinal James Francis Stafford (80)
Cardinal Francis Eugene George, O.M.I. (76)
Cardinal Theodore Edgar McCarrick (82)
Cardinal Edward Michael Egan (80)
Cardinal Justin Francis Rigali (77)
Cardinal Seán Patrick O’Malley, O.F.M. Cap. (68)
Cardinal Daniel Nicholas DiNardo (63)
Cardinal Donald William Wuerl (72)
Cardinal Timothy Michael Dolan (63)
Cardinal William Joseph Levada (76)
Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke (64)
Cardinal Edwin Frederick O’Brien (73)
Cardinal James Michael Harvey (63)

Beginning with HE Card. Levada - they are Cardinal Deacons

not the proverbial snowball’s chance…

my money’s on Cardinal Burke. What better than someone who wants to enforce the NO EUCHARIST for those who SUPPORT CHILD KILLING.

btw, before Blessed JPII’s death, when he was looking close to death the previous fall, I predicted Ratzinger would be chosen. Of course that was just a coincidence that he was elected.

Holy Spirit please guide the Cardinals to make a good solid choice that will continue to guide The Catholic church in the new millenium and beyond.

Three requests:

  • Charismatic
  • Conservative
  • Please, restore the Tiara to where it belongs…just not that monstrosity from 1963.

I am just happy that our own Cardinal DiNardo will be going to the conclave. That is exciting enough.

Love, love, love Cardinal DiNardo. He was my parish priest for awhile back here in PA.

Just had a flashback to that awful Poltergeist II movie:

“Carole Anne! Carole Anne! Carole Anne! Carole Anne! Carole Anne! Carole Anne! Carole Anne! Carole Anne! …” < Repeat 20 more times.

Wait a minute! We had a Pope named Karol who was pretty good!

Nevermind. :blushing:

The men eligible to vote in the conclave for the next Pope as of Feb 2013

Again, not praying for an individual Cardinal to become Pope, just for the Holy Spirit to guide and the given Cardinal be receptive to that guidance. I’m hoping we get unique individuals for each Cardinal, but if we have to double up when the conclave starts, so be it. The main goal is to get each Cardinal covered with someone praying for him individually as well as for the work of the conclave as a whole.
