I write a "Saint of the Week" article for hubpages.com where I try and find interesting Saints and Blesseds to write about (meaning famous people who nobody realizes are Saints, little known Saints, or Saints with interesting lives).
But as of yet I have done no martyrs and only one female Saint, Saint Eve (marcanthony.hubpages.com/hub/Saints-Adam-and-Ev). And I've done no 20th century Saints.
So does anybody know of a Latin female Saint or martyr who's NOT Saint Edith Stein or NOT Saint Maria Goretti? I'd rather not do them because 1) They're very well known and I'd rather do little known Saints unless I have what I deem a good reason for doing otherwise, and 2) Saint Edith Stein's story and Saint Maria Goretti's story don't seem interesting enough to me.
I am doubting neither of their personal holiness, but Saint Maria Goretti only lived to be ten years old and I'm trying to write about the entire life of a Saint and though Saint Edith Stein was martyred in Auschwitz we know little of her actual martyrdom (as opposed to, say, Saint Maximilian Kolbe).
So does anybody know of any other 20th century female Latin Martyr Saints?
Thank you very much for the help, I appreciate it :)
