A study presented by the president of the “Saudi family development centre” in SA, showing that 22% of the kids in Saudi Arabia are facing sexual harassment within their society.

That is a very high rate for an Islamic country, the source of Islam, and where Muhammed born and died.

But truly as Jesus said:
By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?(Matthew 7:16).

Let us pray for them

What do you expect of the practioners of a religion that was founded by a pedophile?

Hi Sam.

Does the article put forward what, if any, measures they propose to help alleviate this crime against children? Is child molestation, whether sexual or physical assault punishable under Sharia Law?

Hi Sam
Could u enlighten us with some brief translation of the article/ the link?
I just wonder why they could be in such ironic situation.

:sad_yes:

From what the article mentioned, it doesn’t seems so, however, after the lecture some kids have stepped up and told their sexual harassment stories so that other kids can learn from them.

No direct instruction in Quran nor hadith, but its left for the judge to issue his fatwa on them “case by case basis”.

Actually that study presented during a lecture at one of the Saudi schools (males only), so kids can be aware of such things, they want to educate kids about sexual harassment which comes from their society, they told the kids that such sexual harassment could come from their relatives, housekeepers, the drivers, or even their friends.

However, from the stories I hear and read from time to time, Saudis are well known for “the act of Lot people” that is why the lecture was at males school and not females.

Lot as in the OT Bible, who flew away from his town because the people there were known to have sexual disorientation?

:frowning: This isn’t right. Let’s all pray for these kids.

Lot is considered a prophet in Islam. But he is only a nephew to Abraham.

It think it amazing that Muslims here in CAF will not address this thread. This is good news really. At least Saudi Arabia acknowledges there is a problem which is a step forward. In time they may acknowledge the sexual abuse of females by males as well.

Rather lets pray for all kids in such situations. It happens everywhere but Islam protects the abuser more so than the victim especially if the victim is female.

well
the muslims don’t care about them …
They’re too busy defending Muhammad’s action
