These are the words pronunced by the Blessed John Paul II about this miracle:

I have a book written by Saverio Gaeta, catholic journalist, with the title “Our Lady is with us” (in italian language). Gaeta documents about thousands of witnesses in that 4 days starting from 29 August 1953, a lot of miraculous healings after the lachrymations. Saverio Gaeta has also written the book: “Why He Is a Saint: The Life and Faith of Pope John Paul II and the Case for Canonization” with Msgr. Slawomir Oder, postulator for the sainthood cause of Pope John Paul II.

The doctor (who examined the miracolous tears) was an atheist: his name was Michele Cassola: he proved scientifically that those tears were human!

What about this ?

Have you ever heard this history in USA ?
