A prayer for those battling Cancer

#1

When I went to confession today my paster said to give penance by praying for some people at my parish who are battling cancer. If you could pray along with me I believe this would please God.

“Hail Mary full of grace the lord is with thee
Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus
Holy Mary mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death.”

My Father is awaiting the results for a biopsy done on a cyst that he has had in his jaw for about ten years there is a chance it may be malignant and he is worried. Please pray with me for him too.

And pray for me for my adversaries and enemies that they may recieve pity and mercy whcih I ask for.

Dear God in Heaven, lord Jesus Christ.
Please take pity on me and my soul and and help heal those who are sick
with Cancer which Father Chris spoke about. You have been more than patient with me with understanding which I don’t deserve. Please give freely the love and compassion you give so freely to me and to those who are sick, those that would do harm to me and others, and protect me and all who try to do as you told us to when you were here with us in the flesh.

Please watch after my father.

God bless Jenn.

God bless you.

I’m sorry to hear about your father. I will be praying for you. Keep faith and don’t stop praying! It may not be cancer, but if it is, don’t forget us at CAF. We’re here for you! My own father has cancer, but he has been doing well and I am amazed at how it has strengthened his character. I’d also like to mention that St Peregrine is the patron saint of cancer victims.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy Will be done, on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now,
and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Lord, may Jenn’s father’s tumor not be malignant. Keep him safe from all harm and draw him closer to Your Son through this brush of his with possible cancer. Also I pray for those battling with cancer. Heal them physically and spiritually and bring them all to a closer relationship with Jesus and a greater understanding of Your mercy and loving care for them. Amen.
