A prayer for those with no one to pray for them

#1

Holy Father we pray for all those who, no matter how or why, have no one on earth to pray for them.
We ask that Your Holy Spirit may guide them and help them through any spiritual troubles, and that they may find in You and Your Son the companionship they seek.
Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven,
hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us thisday our daily bread
and forgiv us all our trespasses
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.
For Thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory
for ever and ever.
Amen

An excelent intention. And including those who would find faith and God if they only knew how and had received the gift.
I recall reading in a Catholic newspaper of a young AIDS victim who dissolved into tears when a kind visitor prayed for him as he lay dying in hospital. “Nobody has ever prayed for me before.” he said. There are people out there who have known no one to pray for them.
Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit, please flood them with Your love and bring them into Your presence.

Loving God, our Father who comes as comforter in times of need, celebrant in times of joy, giver of everlasting peace, creator of all we know, all powerful and all knowing, and the best of friends, we who know you ask for your showering of grace upon all who are in need of prayer though they might not even be aware of the need and that you might lift them up and cradle them as though a child against your breast, meeting their needs as you know they need to be met.
