A Prayer Request for my return, repentance, and forgiveness

#1

I’m asking for prayer in my life. I had left the Church years ago, at age 18 when I went into the Marines.
I and others I grew up with had a very bad experience in a Catholic grade school as small children.
Now these years later I’m trying to return, repent and asking God for forgivness of all those years away from Him.
Just to be forgiven of sins past and be renewed, would be such a miracle of grace from the Lord. And also to have my mind healed.
Thank you.

we will be praying for you as you again approach the sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist. Welcome home, brother.

Prayers coming your way!! :signofcross:

My prayers are with you! God give you the courage it takes to go and receive the sacrament of Reconciliation. I know that it is hard to work up that courage to go, but that miracle you are looking for is as close as the nearest Catholic Church. If you are sincerely sorry for your sins and intend to receive the sacrament as soon as you physically can, God has already forgiven you, but you must go to confession.

Thank you for your service to this country.

May your reconciliation keep you on the path to returning to the Church and help relieve your troubled heart and mind. God Bless.

Let the shepherd lead his flock…home again…

Go read the story of the prodigal son! I know you probably know it…but read it. God bless you. And have no fear. Just come back with the Communion of Saints!

God bless

Thank you for serving our country. You know the meaning of Semper Fi. God is always faithful. He’s been waiting for you. You obviously are familiar with sacrifice, hard work and loyalty and picking the excellent but difficult path. Those same qualities will make you a wonderful returnee to the Catholic Church. Welcome home!

You wouldn’t let a bad platoon sergeant make you think the Corps was a bad organization. Same thing here. One bad school does not a bad church make.
