A question about the occult in TV

Sorry if this is the wrong place to put this thread.

Anyway, I’m currently watching a TV show which in some episodes - and when I say some, I mean very few; I’ve counted this only thrice thus far and this is a very long-running show - shows some stuff that I think might be from the occult. I was wondering if it’s okay to continue watching this show given this - should I only watch the episodes without these elements, or can I watch them as long as I ignore those parts? Thanks in advance for answers; I feel like I’m being scrupulous, but I’d like to make sure this isn’t a spiritual danger.

That apologist answer seems to suggest that so long as it’s not damaging to your faith nor encouraging a desire to deal with the occult, it’s fine.

If you deal with scrupulosity, it is most recommended to talk with a priest about your questions.

What is the TV show called?

Everything on popular tv is so inundated with worldliness it is impossible to watch without having aggression towards your spiritual well being.

That may be your personal opinion, but the apologist answer didn’t remotely imply that,

Below are the lyrics to the once, and thanks to the band Disturbed newly popular song, Sound of Silence. If you ponder the meaning, you can see a parallel to our tv viewing.

The Sound Of Silence
P. Simon, 1964
Hello darkness, my old friend
I’ve come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence

In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
'Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turn my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence

And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never shared
No one dared
Disturb the sound of silence

“Fools,” said I, “you do not know
Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you”
But my words like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the wells of silence

And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
And the sign said "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls
And whispered in the sound of silence

I guess Ms. Arnold and I have differing opinions!

My rule is basically garbage in…garbage out.
