A ray of sunshine in the clouds

We welcomed our fourth child, a beautiful little girl, on Monday Oct. 10 at 9:43am.

Annalyn Rose weighed in at 7lbs 3oz and was 19 inches long.

She’s the bright spot in the midst of all the gloom we’ve had hanging around our family these past few months.

Thank you all for the prayers you offered up for me and my family. I ask that you still continue to pray as we wait for news as to what is happening with my mom’s stroke and my dad will be getting part of his lung removed this upcoming friday because of cancer.

Annalyn is also still fighting off jaundice. Thankfully she’s not had to go back in the hospital and her biliruben levels are slowly coming down but this is the longest any of my kids have had this.

She’s a beautiful little angel with thick black hair and such a sweet personality. She’s the easiest baby I’ve had. The other children adore her, even my 20 month old. He’s always kissing her little head and has really not shown any jealousy towards her. My other 2 daughters are always wanting to hold her.

She is such a cuddle bug. Even the doctor commented on friday about how calm she felt just holding Annalyn before she examined her.

She is truly a blessing. One that took me a while to see, but I do see it now.

I must try to get some rest now. Everyone is sleeping except momma. The baby will be waking soon for a feeding so I’m going to rest while I can.

God bless you all!

Congratulations on your baby girl, and what a beautiful name.
She sounds like such a true gift and blessing. God is so good. It sounds as if all of your children know how much you love them. Your baby must have been truly peaceful while you carried her. May she bring peace to your whole family. I will keep them all in my prayers. God bless you all.

Kelly, Congradulations, Annalyn Rose, what a lovely name. God Bless her. I will continue to pray for you and your family. I am so happy for you:blessyou: Kay

Kelly, I’ve been so curious about what happened and how everything went. I’m so glad your little blessing arrived, safe and sound. I’ll keep you in my prayers.

As the mom of 5 I can relate to your joy of having a beautiful, cuddly baby to hold and love. Cherish every moment. In our family, it always seemed that a child was born while a crisis of one kind or another was taking place. I decided that God does that on purpose, to soften the heartache caused by the “crisis”, with the birth of this truly wonderous little human being. Now, I have the honor of cuddling and loving grandchildren. Congratulations! God is good!

Love and peace
