A sign in the sky?

A mysterious light show over Norway on December 9, 2009:

Not drawing conclusions just yet, but hopeful.

The latest info is saying that its most likely a fuel dump from a failed Russian rocket.

#3

Interesting and eye-catching, but I'm sure it has some kind of natural explanation.

And what exactly are you hopeful about?

#4

Looks like someone took a floodlight/spotlight and modified it a bit to play some pictures on the mist.

#5

I’m hopeful that it’s miraculous and would cause conversion of hearts, but you’re probably right about it being of natural origin. Unfortunately, any unexplained phenomena can be explained away as “probably natural”. Think of the 1938 strange light that Our Lady of Fatima prophesied. It’s been mostly forgotten.

 Alfred probably forgot to put in the Bat-slide.

#9

Looks like a giant hypno-ray that some bad cartoon villain might use.

Beautiful event, what ever it is. Non related, maybe, saw a show about classified aircraft and a satelite image was shown that had a contrail going across the US, west to east, across the Atlantic then into Russia and China. It was moving at 8,000 mph and the contrail had a distinct pattern like something from a pulse jet type driven vehicle.

Here's one explanation gizmodo.com.au/2009/12/this-is-how-the-mysterious-giant-spiral-happened/

Now that's impressive!

The Russians have just confirmed that it was an errant rocket launch. Still pretty amazing though!

#17

Sure it’s true, just how in the world does something like that be so cirmetrical. (yeah, I know I butchered the spelling)

Come to think of it, kind of looks like what I'd imagine an EMP burst would look like.

EMP as in HERF gun? Because those bursts don't look like anything at all.... because they're invisible. =)

Well, I guess it's safe to say that if Russia had been properly consecrated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary, this would've never happened. :)
