Accidental porn?

#1

I was browsing on YouTube and unexpectedly so a females breast as theyre was a riot going on in streets and that just popped up, un aware it was coming. They blurred out most of it but at one point you could see a little bit of the nipple. Is this a sin on me? Should I ask for forgiveness?

Not at all. Your intention was not to look at pornography or anything inappropriate. And it happened too quickly for you to have turned it off once you realized what you were seeing. The only way this could have become sinful is if the clip was longer, you realized what you were seeing, and then continued to watch.

Pray, and ask for the grace to put it out of your mind. No need to worry.

In Christ through Mary,
Frank

I did re-wind it to see if it did show anything bad...

#4

Did you re-watch it to derive pleasure? If no, you don't need to worry about it.

#5

Seeing a naked body is not porn. If there are no sexual acts being performed, it's not porn.

#6

It was like stunning seeing it and I went back to see if it was bad and I was seeing it correctly, but I did get pleasure from it...):

#7

You did not look for it. A naked body is not porn.

I thought nudity was porn? And I wasnt exactly looking, but I knew it was coming. I didn't know how it was going to come up though.

No, nudity is simply nudity. You are nude when you're born, and when you die, God won't care what clothes you're wearing. Adam & Eve were nude, until they decided they were embarrassed and made clothes out of leaves and stuff.

Look up the definition of pornography. Nudity and pornography are two very different things. You create nudity every time you shower. But probably not pornography. Unless you're an entrepreneur.

Kidding.

This is what the CCC says about pornography:

2354 Pornography consists in removing real or simulated sexual acts from the intimacy of the partners, in order to display them deliberately to third parties. It offends against chastity because it perverts the conjugal act, the intimate giving of spouses to each other. It does grave injury to the dignity of its participants (actors, vendors, the public), since each one becomes an object of base pleasure and illicit profit for others. It immerses all who are involved in the illusion of a fantasy world. It is a grave offense. Civil authorities should prevent the production and distribution of pornographic materials.

Maybe this is off topic, but I've never really understood how breasts became a sexual object at all. When you think about it, it doesn't make much sense.

I tried to come up with an intellectual, elegant response to this, regarding sexuality of the body and the beauty of the union between partners, but encouraging me to think about breasts gets me nowhere good.

No, it was not a sin, as you did not to watch the video with the intent of becoming aroused. Just don't come back on and tell us you added it to your "favorites" list. :tsktsk:;)

#14

Lol, no I did not add it to my favorites. I just wanted to see something funny and reactions to this, and this popped up. I knew it was coming but I didn't know they'd actually show it. Like mostly on TV shows they blur it out, thats what I was expecting but I guess not.

#15

Okay, then - no need to feel badly about it!:)

Alright. (: Thanks
