“[Let] the greatest sinners place their trust in My mercy. They have the right before others to trust in the abyss of My mercy. My daughter, write about My mercy towards tormented souls. Souls that make an appeal to My mercy delight Me.”
Throughout her life, Saint Faustina reported having visions of Jesus and conversations with him, of which she wrote in her diary, later published as “The Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska: Divine Mercy in My Soul.” Her biography, was submitted to the Congregation for the Causes of Saints, which quoted some of these conversations with Jesus regarding the Divine Mercy devotion.
