Account: "After Her Wedding Was Cancelled, a Bride's Family Turned Her Reception into a Feast for the Homeless."

“We were like, OKAY now, we are going to serve,” the mother of the family said. It was a bittersweet event for them. They were actually happy they could feed the homeless.

Good for her (and her folks)!

Hopefully, the cost of it all will count toward the family’s penance!

I love it!! Excellent use of gifts.

I hope there are copycats. There usually are. Maybe knowing that they can turn the event into something like this will encourage couples who are having doubts, or know something isn’t right, to not marry, not go thorough with the wedding. How many couples have gotten married because of how much time and money went into the wedding plans and didn’t want to disappoint people?
