Adult Stem Cells Help Grow Hair On Children With Baldness (Alopecia Areata)

In a recently presented stem cell research study, it was shown that a child’s own Adult Stem Cells helped grow hair in children suffering from Alopecia Areata, a disease which causes uneven hair loss (baldness) and can occur at any age.

It is a disease which affects the person mentally as children are shunned and many adults feel distressed if they have this condition.

Therefore, this study using adult stem cells is noteworthy. 5 of the 8 children treated had 50% more hair after 6 months. 2 of the 8 had a small increase. And unfortunately 1 of the 8, the adult stem cells did not help.

But 7 out of 8 for a simple treatment with zero side effects isn’t bad. You can see the whole story at Stem Cell Research Blog

Zero side effects is great!

Keep them coming.
