“Thus, Wildmon said today’s Dirty Dozen covers a much greater spectrum. “The companies cited in this list have sunk to the bottom when it comes to corporate involvement in anti-family policies and practices,” he said. “They’re the bottom-feeders.””…

“The data and rankings are compiled expressly by Research Institute for Corporate Accountability (RICA), which measures corporations for their degree of participation in seven anti-family areas – abortion, alcohol, anti-family media, gambling, gay agenda, pornography and tobacco. For example, Microsoft gives corporate support to Planned Parenthood, provides same-sex domestic partner benefits and profits from the sale of pornographic advertising.” …

"Not a call for boycott
**Wildmon said this is not a call to boycott these companies but he urges people to contact especially the ones they do business with. **To find a list of their products and/or subsidiaries, visit their Web sites.

For all 12 companies, corporate commitment to the gay activist agenda spiked above support for any of the other liberal causes measured in the study.

With one exception – Washington Mutual – all 12 also support Planned Parenthood either with direct gifts or by matching employee gifts. Johnson & Johnson was the leader in this area. The company not only manufactures abortion-inducing drugs but also contributes to the world’s largest abortion provider.

Wildmon said RICA will furnish AFA with monthly updates. “AFA will continue to keep close watch on this research and will continue to inform our constituents via the Journal, e-mail Action Alerts and AFA Web sites,” he said.

He added that inquires regarding the RICA ratings or other aspects of this data should be addressed at 615-377-6464 or RICAinfo@RICAonline.com."
