After conviction, Ray Nagin must forfeit $500K

The former New Orleans mayor was convicted in February on 20 counts including bribery, fraud, money laundering and conspiracy during his two terms as mayor.

Sentencing is scheduled for June, although his lawyers are trying to delay it.

After he serves his time, maybe he can run for Governor of Illinois. He now has the resume for the position.

Is it any wonder politicians seem to have lost the respect of the electorate?
