"all generations shall call me blessed" Lk. 1:48

“For he hath regarded the low estate of his handmaiden: for, behold, from henceforth all generations shall call me blessed.” Luke 1:48

Is the use here of the prophetic phrase “all generations” meant to be taken in a literal sense?

Nobody responded to this? Well, they probably figured somebody else would. But the answer is yes, very much so…

“Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou…”

All generations have called Mary “blessed”, and will continue to do so. Its almost as if she was inspired by the Holy Spirit, who knows the end from the beginning.

Just as “all generations” in other parts of the Bible should be taken literally.

What could it mean non-literally?
