All sacraments are necessary

CCC states:
“1129 The Church affirms that for believers the sacraments of the New Covenant are necessary for salvation.”

Why doesn’t it say ‘…only if it is possible’?

Why don’t the traffic laws say to stop at all stop signs, if you can.

It assumes that everyone will, unless something outside of their control prevents them from doing so.

If you are a believer, then you believe that the Eucharist is Grace. Why would you not do everything in your power to receive this Grace?

why the baited question?
