All the Pope's Men by John Allen

I wonder if anyone else has read the Customer Reviews on for the above-named book.I haven’t read them all,but there is at least one anti-catholic rant.Another one,not too bad,but still expresses disappointment with John Allen’s favourable treatment of the priest scandal. He repeats the argument that more priests had been involved in scandal(4%)than had Protestant clergy.I thought that one had been debunked.
I wasn’t quite so surprised by the statement that the Church had been pro-death penalty only 150 years ago.I’m more surprised when i hear people saying that the Church is against the death penalty.
