Anatomy of a prayer..."Hail Mary..."

Hail [Mary] full of grace,
The Lord is with thee,
Blessed art thou amongst women,
And Blessed is the fruit of they womb, [Jesus].
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death,

Hail [Mary] full of grace,
The Lord is with thee,

Luke 1:28
And the angel being come in, said unto her:
“Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.”

Blessed art thou amongst women,
And Blessed is the fruit of they womb, [Jesus].

Luke 1:42
And she cried out with a loud voice, and said;
“Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb.”

Holy Mary,

Luke 1:46
"And Mary said: My soul doth magnify the Lord."

Mother of God,

Luke 1:43
"And whence is this to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?"

Pray for us sinners,

1 Timothy 2:1-4
"I urge, then, first of all, that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone, for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be
saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth."

Now and at the hour of our death,

Luke 8:41-42
And a man whose name was Jairus, head of the synagogue, fell at the feet of Jesus, and begged him to go to his house. For he had an old child girl, of about the age of twelve, and she was near death. And as Jesus went with him, a great crowd pressed him.

So be it.

I’ve been meaning to look in the biblical references of the Hail Mary for some time now. Thanks you for doing it for me.

It was actually deleted from a “christian” website because it was made known to me that they didn’t “praise” Mary.

When I told them that The Word of God stated that we would all call her “blessed”
[which is literally “praising” her]
and that the Archangel Gabriel did exactly that when he approached her
(he “praised” her),
my profile was terminated and my IP banned.

Truth hurts I guess.

I guess after seeing what I wrote, they couldn’t say that any of it was “not” scripural, the reading of scripture in the first 1/2 literally, the Mother of God proofs, the intercessory prayer proofs and the praying for the dieing proofs…all scriptural.

Very well done.

Coming from you, that means so much more.

Thank you.

I hope I can rely on you as a reference when I’m in Purgatory.
