Annulment

#1

I am sure you have had this question in the past - but…
I am 53 and returning to the church.
I was married in 1976 for 12 years till divorce.
I was not married in the Catholic Church.
Do I still need an anullment and is their a fee for this?

Dear Laura,

The marriage tribunal will need to verify that your marriage was not valid in the Church, but this should not take long nor should it incur any expense to speak of.
